Mugwort

Dried Mugwort aerial parts.
Artemisia vulgaris.

Grown organically and regeneratively by one of the Meeting House Farm Collaborative Farms. Plants are dried immediately after harvest in an on-farm drying facility to maximize potency and preserve quality.

In the Apothecary:

Preparations: extract of dried or fresh leaf.

Uses: Digestive and menstrual system support. 

Energetics:  warming

Tastes: bitter

Herbal Action:  digestive, astringent

From our Experience:

When blending herbal tisanes, mugwort typically acts as the accent herb and combines well with milky oats, nettle, yarrow, and lady's mantle.
