Our founder, Emily Springer comes from a farming family. She has a rich background in plants and a wealth of knowledge when it comes to Herbalism, planting, farm & garden management, apothecary systems, and Women's health. Not only that, she has years of corporate financial training, a mind for organization, and a knack for building community. Her leadership, wisdom and trust in her team are what makes Meeting House Farm and its sister company Infusion Herb Co run so smoothly.
Emily holds a vision of having more people grow herbs for local healing. She loves to help new farms get started and works with gardeners to add herbs into their garden or to create specific apothecary gardens.
Emily has limited availability for consultations on Fridays throughout the year. She works with clients in the following areas:
Herbal wellness visits over tea: This is a 1.5 hour visit with a 30 minute follow-up phone conversation.
Stewarding your land with herbs property visits: This is a site visit at a location of your choosing with tips and advice on starting or managing your own farm or garden. This is a 3 hours on-site visit plus two 30 minute follow-up phone conversations.
Organic Certification preparation: This is a 1 hour on-site visit plus two 30 minute follow-up phone conversations.
Growing your own apothecary Garden: Instruction and plant selection for your own apothecary garden and drying facility. This is a 3 hour visit with an option of two additional 30 minute phone consultations.
Dry Room Setup: Site visit at a location of your choosing plus dry room specifications and consultation. This is a 2 hour site visit with two 30 minute follow-up sessions.
Phone Consultation: This is a 30 minute phone conversation.
