Black Cohosh - Certified OG
Black Cohosh
Actaea racemosa
Certified Organic | Grown & Processed by Meeting House Farm
Black Cohosh is a woodland perennial native to eastern North America, long valued in traditional herbal practice for its deep, grounding root. The plant grows slowly, developing its strength underground over several seasons before harvest.
Our Black Cohosh is certified organic by MOFGA and grown regeneratively at Meeting House Farm. Roots are harvested with care and dried immediately after harvest in an on farm organic certified drying facility to preserve potency, integrity, and quality.
Each step, from harvest timing to drying and extraction, is guided by respect for the plant’s lifecycle and the ecosystems it supports.
