About us
We have a mission to connect more people in the United States with locally grown, high quality herbs and herb products.
Meeting House Farm was founded in 2017 by Emily & Scott Springer on a historic farm property in Scarborough, Maine, that dates back to 1731. As a MOFGA-certified organic, regenerative and biodynamic herb farm, Emily’s mission was to produce high quality, locally grown herbs and get them into the hands of people who want and need them. To support this mission, in 2019, Emily formed Meeting House Collaborative – inviting other growers to join Meeting House Farm in creating an online Herbal Marketplace that could connect more people across the United States with locally grown organic herbs and herbal products.

Many Farms Meet Here.
Meeting House Collaborative meets a growing need in the community: To bridge the gap in access between locally grown herbs and the people that need them. To date, over 50 growers across the United States have partnered with Meeting House Farm as Collaborative members, making their herbs and herbal products available for sale through the Collaborative’s online Herbal Marketplace. Each member of the Collaborative works with Emily and her team to ensure that they meet high standards for regenerative growing, soil health, and beautiful healthy plants.
