About us

We have a mission to connect herbalists in the Northeast with locally grown herbs, bridging the accessibility gap and empowering more people to make and grow local medicine for their communities.

In 2019, two years after revitalizing her own historic herb farm and kitchen garden in Scarborough, Emily Springer formed the Meeting House Farm Herb Grower Collaborative. She invited other Maine growers to join her in creating an online herbal farmer's market at www.meetinghouse.farm.

All our "grower partners" work with Emily to ensure that they meet high standards for regenerative growing, soil health and beautiful healthy plants. We are creating a connection between herbal minded folks and Maine farmers who grow medicinal plants, making local plant medicine accessible for all.

Many Farms Meet Here.

This collaborative was built to meet a need in the community. To bridge a gap in access between locally grown herbs and the people that need them. Today, there are over 20 farm partners growing for Meeting House Farm and you can find MHF herbs at a growing number of storefronts, groceries and co-ops in Maine.
