Kennebec Oat Farm in Machias, Maine
Kennebec Oat Farm overlooks the Little Kennebec Bay near Machias, Maine where John and Cathy Allis grow organic milky oats for Meeting House Farm. "We began work on our six and a half acres in the spring of 2020, and hope to include more medicinal herbs as we expand. Currently we are reclaiming about an acre of pasture to be added to our growing farm. We also harvest wild Goldenrod, Raspberry Leaf and Lady’s Mantle leaves."
