Collaborative Coordinator – Farm Community, Onboarding & Support | Job Description
Description of Services
This role owns the onboarding, ongoing support, and community experience of farms within the Meeting House Collaborative. The Collaborative Coordinator is the primary point of contact for participating farms and is responsible for making sure every farm feels welcomed, informed, and well supported throughout their time in the Collaborative.
Farm Onboarding
- Own and execute the onboarding process for all new Collaborative farms
- Ensure each farm is fully introduced to systems, expectations, and standards
- Provide clear guidance on participation, communication, and contribution
- Support farms in integrating smoothly and confidently into the Collaborative
Community Building & Customer Service
- Foster a genuine sense of community and belonging among Collaborative farms
- Respond promptly and warmly to farm questions, concerns, and requests
- Create and maintain simple touchpoints that keep farms engaged and connected (check-ins, updates, shared resources)
- Look for opportunities for farms to support and learn from one another
- Treat every farm interaction as a reflection of the Meeting House standard of care
Relationship Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all Collaborative farms
- Maintain consistent, proactive communication with farm partners
- Build strong, trust-based relationships rooted in clarity and mutual respect
- Identify needs, challenges, and opportunities across the farm network and respond accordingly
Farm Success and Alignment
- Ensure farms are meeting Collaborative standards for quality, communication, and participation
- Maintain alignment with the values and direction of Meeting House
- Address issues early and work toward practical, grounded solutions
- Escalate only those decisions that require strategic or financial input
Systems and Operations
- Maintain accurate and organized records of farm partners, onboarding progress, and communication
- Own simple, effective systems for tracking participation, engagement, and satisfaction
- Refine and document onboarding and support processes over time
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for this role
Communication and Reporting
- Provide regular updates on onboarding progress and farm engagement
- Track and report on the health and satisfaction of the farm network
- Communicate opportunities, risks, and emerging patterns clearly and in a timely manner
- Provide end-of-week updates on Collaborative work
Ideal Candidate
- Hands-on farming experience, or strong familiarity with how a working farm operates
- Comfortable with technology and able to learn new tools and systems quickly
- Reliable, strong wifi connection to support remote work
- Willing to represent the Meeting House brand in person at local fairs and events
- Warm, personable communicator who genuinely enjoys building relationships
- Self-directed and comfortable making decisions within scope — brings solutions, not just problems
- Organized and dependable with follow-through on records, deadlines, and commitments
- Aligned with Meeting House's values around organic, herbal, and community-minded farming
- Able to travel locally to fairs and events (own transportation)
