Job Description – Farm Hands

Meeting House Herb Farm — Scarborough, Maine

Join our amazing team of herbalists and farm workers at Meeting House Herb Farm! We are looking for reliable, hardworking farm hands to help with the seasonal rhythm of our herb farm.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

• Weeding, planting, and general field maintenance
• Harvesting flowers, leaves, and roots
• Assisting with post-harvest handling and processing as needed
• Working outdoors in all weather conditions

Qualifications:

• Previous farm, gardening, or landscaping experience preferred
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying conditions (sun, rain, cool mornings, etc)
• Able to lift 50lbs and perform physically active tasks
• Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team

Position Details:

• Seasonal position: begins ASAP through October 31 (may extend into early November depending on weather)
  
• Schedule: Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and some Fridays from 9 AM - 12 PM
• Compensation: $16-18/hour. depending on experience
