Restoration Acres Farm

Jana Turner’s mission at Restoration Acres Farm in Garfield, Arkansas, is to heal the land while cultivating plants that nourish both body and soul. When she and her family first took on stewardship of the 30-acre property, it was a neglected, overgrazed pasture. Today, through careful management and regenerative practices, Jana is restoring it from the ground up, believing that healthy soil leads to flourishing crops—and ultimately, healthy people. She relies on organic methods, using compost, comfrey tea, and fish fertilizer, avoiding all chemicals to maintain the integrity of the land.

Restoration Acres Farm is a haven of biodiversity, home to around 50 varieties of herbs, flowers, fruits, and vegetables, all grown with a commitment to sustainability and care. Jana’s vision is to produce the finest herbs while balancing the health of the plants with her own well-being. By intercropping, she fosters a natural community among the crops, reflecting her belief that plants, like people, thrive best in harmony.

Jana’s appreciation for nature began early, foraging wild herbs alongside her great-grandmother as a child. With over 15 years of experience in herbal medicine, she blends her extensive knowledge with her love for regenerative farming, thoughtfully cultivating a diverse range of herbs. Her greatest joy comes from working outdoors, deeply connected to the land she stewards—a way of life that nourishes both the earth and her spirit.

Everything is grown, harvested, and dried by hand from certified organic seed.
