Job Description - Farm Hand
Meeting House Herb Farm is seeking two experienced farm hands to join our team for the growing season. This is a working farm rooted in organic practices, high standards, and deep respect for the land.
We are looking for individuals who are dependable, physically capable, and take pride in doing excellent work. This role is best suited for someone who enjoys focused, hands-on labor and understands the pace and expectations of a production farm.
This role requires consistency across the full season. We are looking for team members who can commit to the entire term.
Responsibilities:
Daily field work including weeding, planting, and bed maintenance
Harvesting flowers, leaves, and roots with care and attention to quality.
Supporting post-harvest handling and processing
Maintaining clean, organized workspaces in the field and drying areas
Working efficiently and consistently in all weather conditions
Qualifications:
Previous farm or field-based experience required
Able to identify quality work and maintain attention to detail over long periods
Physically strong and able to lift 50 lbs repeatedly
Reliable, punctual, and able to follow direction
Comfortable working both independently and as part of a small team

Position Details:
Seasonal position beginning May 19, 2026 through October 31, 2026 with potential extension into early November
Schedule: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and an occasional Friday, 9 AM to 1 PM
Compensation: Starting at $16 per hour
