Certified Organic by MOFGA and grown regeneratively by one of the Meeting House Farm Collaborative Farms. Plants are dried immediately after harvest in an on-farm organic certified drying facility to maximize potency and preserve quality.

A selection of 1 lb dried botanicals is considered a pre-order.  It may be ordered in advance and will be shipped directly from Meeting House Herb farm once it is grown, harvested and dried.  Orders are shipped in the order they are received.  Pre-Orders are always filled first before being listed in our online farmer's market.

We typically harvest Marshmallow leaves & flowers in July through September.

In the Apothecary:

Preparations: Water infusion of dried flowers & leaves.

Uses: Respiratory & digestive system support. 

Energetics:  Cooling & Moist

Tastes: sweet, syrupy

Herbal Action:  Demulcent, emollient, diuretic. 

From our Experience:

We make marshmallow extract using a cold-water infusion.  We add white pine or wild cherry extract and honey to make a wonderful cough syrup for our family.
