Plants are dried immediately after harvest in our on-farm drying facility to maximize
potency and preserve quality.

Mugwort is typically harvested April through October.

Traditional uses: Digestion, women’s issues
Folk wisdom: Mugwort was one of the most important ritual plants of the Germanic peoples.
Hanging sprigs of the plant in the home was believed to protect women and children. Its leaves
were a key ingredient in many recipes for “witch’s salves,” which gave them the ability to fly.

Indiana.
