Shiso

Shiso, also known as Japanese basil, perilla, or beefsteak plant.

Dried leaves. Choose whole leaf (good for culinary dishes) or garbled (good for teas, remedies).

Purple shiso is a warming herb from the mint family, known to support digestive and respiratory health.

Shiso is rich in antioxidants and has flavors hinting of anise, basil and mint.

Make a beautiful and delicious pink tea with shiso leaves and a splash of citrus.

1 ounce is equal to approximately 7 lightly packed cups of dried leaves. A little goes a long way!

Harvested from May through early fall.
