Nome McBride is an herbalist, farmer, and entrepreneur with decades of experience working at the intersection of plants, agriculture, and product development. Based in Tucson, Arizona, he lives with his partner and son and is known for sourcing rare and hard-to-find wild botanicals.

As the founder of Pharmacopia Herbals, Nome has developed more than 110 botanical products and built a thriving business rooted in quality and integrity. His work has included farming organic crops, designing manufacturing facilities, and building long-standing relationships across the natural products industry.

Raised on a 500-acre family farm in Indiana, Nome’s approach to farming is both practical and deeply connected to the rhythms of nature. His work also extends internationally as co-founder of Los Cielos Peru, a botanical garden and farm focused on specialty crops.

In addition to his farming and business work, Nome has spent nearly two decades teaching at universities, herbal schools, and conferences, sharing his passion for connecting people, plants, and place.
