Dried Plantain aerial parts
Plantago major and Plantago lanceolata
Plantain is typically harvested April through October.
Traditional uses: Wound healing, insect bites, burns

A staple in European herbals, Broadleaf Plantain and Lanceleaf Plantain were naturalized in the Americas (and every other continent besides Antarctica) by colonists. However, native species of plantain had been used for food and medicine by Indigenous folks in America since at least 6,500 B.C.
