Mugwort
Mugwort (Artemisia vulgaris)
Mugwort is a strongly aromatic and deeply rooted plant, long associated with hedgerows, pathways, and disturbed ground. Harvested at peak vitality, the aerial parts are gathered when the plant is fully expressive, preserving its silvery leaves and distinctive scent.
Our Mugwort is grown regeneratively, following organic standards, by Power Farm Herbals in Falmouth, Maine. Plants are dried immediately after harvest in an on farm drying facility to maximize potency, preserve quality, and maintain the character of the fresh plant.

From Our Experience
Mugwort is a plant we approach with attentiveness and respect. Its aroma is unmistakable and tends to linger, both in the apothecary and in blends. We often think of it as an herb best worked with intentionally, allowing its strong character to guide formulation rather than disappear into the background.
