Rosemary OG - live plant
Rosmarinus officinalis
These Rosemary seedlings are available in 4 inch pots.
In the Garden
Grows best in zones 9+. Full Sun. Well-drained soil - does not need much moisture. Grown as an annual in the Northeast, this moderate perennial can grow 3-4 feet tall.
Grow Rosemary in Maine as a tender annual or bring her inside each season. They are tricky to keep alive through our dark winters but choosing a room with southern exposure and cool temps will improve success. Mist regularly and water sparingly. Get her outside as soon as the danger of frost is past in the spring.
Clip leaves as needed after the plant is established.
In the Apothecary
Use an extract of fresh leaf in alcohol, a water infusion of dried leaf, or an oil infusion of dried leaf. This culinary herb supports the immune system.
